Summary

ECOFIQUE COLOMBIA S.A.S. It was established as a company on October 12, 2017 in a general meeting of shareholders, with its headquarters in the municipality of Versalles, Valle del Cauca.

It began research processes more than 8 years ago with fique plants in the department of Valle del Cauca. His greatest interest was in one of the harvest residues: the juice, which at the time of shredding in the field was thrown onto the ground, like the bagasse.

In 2019, the plant was built with machinery designed by the research and development team, coming into operation in 2021 with the purpose of researching the production of fertilizers, fungicides, insecticides and additives for concentrates of organic origin. The raw material comes from the departments of Cauca and Caldas.
