Summary
ECOFIQUE S.A.S. COLOMBIA was founded on October 12, 2017, with its headquarters in the municipality of Versalles, Valle del Cauca.

Over eight years ago, we began researching fique plants in the Valle del Cauca department. Our primary focus was on the harvest residue: the juice and bagasse. Traditionally, when leaves are defibered (decorticated) in the field to extract the fibers, these byproducts are simply discarded on the ground.

In 2019, we built our plant featuring machinery designed by our in-house research and development team. Operations began in 2021, focusing on researching the production of organic fertilizers, fungicides, insecticides, and other additives like animal feed concentrates.

Our raw materials are sourced from the departments of Cauca and Caldas.

Today, we are proud to present a revolutionary breakthrough achieved by the OptiAgro-Fique Alliance.
